Be careful not to use the executive summary as a platform to showcase your business but rather to show the client how you can and will address their needs as required by the bid.  Tailor your response to the needs of your customer, and show them how your company aligns with their objectives

Some important factors to keep in mind when writing your executive summary are:

  • Be specific and to the point without overloading the reader.
  • Engage your reader with the use of graphics, captivating headings, and layouts.
  • Use plain understandable language.
  • Conduct more than one quality check of your completed summary before including it in your proposal.
